If you purchase the optional Schneider text book, it comes with a copy of the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Working Model software.
If the only reason you're buying this text book is for the software, a much more inexpensive (free) way to get this software is to borrow a Visual Basic 6.0 learning book from the library. Many of these books (such as "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Visual Basic 6", "The Complete Visual Basic 6 Training Course", and "Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 21 Days", etc) come with a copy of the VB 6 Working Model software that you can install at home.
Please Note: If you are using the VB 6 Working Model version of the software at home, this software does not have an option that will allow you to create an executable copy of your program (which will be required for A2). You will need to bring your files to campus to complete this last small step (this can be done in less than a minute, so this really isn't a big deal).
Visual Basic 6 is not available for download from the Microsoft site.
